My mother is a survivor of domestic violence and  when  I was just a child we lived in the Henry Street houses domestic  violence  building,   those resources saved our lives .  Some  how when  I grew up I too  found myself Face-to-face with domestic violence but I refused to suffer in silence I got out,  so many men  and  women are not that  lucky. Let  us  take  a  look  at  the  statistics.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. This includes a range of behaviors (e.g. slapping, shoving, pushing) and in some cases might not be considered "domestic violence." 1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men have been injured by an intimate partner.

Now imagine all the instances just go unreported.

This along with my own personal experiences is why I would love for you to assist me in supporting the survivors not victims   but  survivors of domestic violence with a small donation today 🙏🏾
